Bone cancer has spread, she is too weak for chemo, offered some radiotherapy, but as she has breast, lung and bone cancer. Stage 4 not much can be done. Been told 6-12 months left. Devasted and no one too talk too. Worst bit is.. she doesn’t know how bad she is. Cause I don’t want her to give up all hope. :-(
Hi
I'm very sorry to hear about your mum and I can only begin to imagine how devastated you must be. It's also very hard when you don't feel that you have anyone you can talk to about it.
Could I suggest that you join the supporting someone with incurable cancer group where you can discuss your emotions about the prospect of losing your mum as well as practical matters.
You could also give the Macmillan Support Line a call on 0808 808 0000 if you feel that talking to someone over the phone would help. It's free to call and is available every day from 8am to 8pm.
