hey, my brother has just had his 2nd. Chemo for rectum, colon, liver and stomach and was given a double dose.
He has come up with a rash on his chest, back and face (tzone and chin) but they have what looks like white heads? He has never had spots so we are not sure what’s going on. Has anyone seen this with anyone else?
Hi , sorry to hear about your brother. We have no experience with that treatment and anyway are not medical experts. If he gets any reaction that is not on the list he was given he would need to speak to his medical team. In Oxford we are given a direct line number to the oncolgy ward where they will triarge. Sometimes of course they will need to see him. Do make sure especially to keep an eye on his temperature as infections might need to be treated with IV antibiotics.
<<hugs>.>
