I had breast cancer in 2019. It rocked my world, off its axis. Have never been the same person since. Blessed to have survived. Blessed to have managed to have found the strength to keep going, just about. Decided to retire early and seek a new path. That begins tomorrow and it feels incredibly liberating!

My retirement at 55 was rather different as I retired to basically become a ‘professional’ NHS patient…… but 12 years and having complete a shed load of treatment I am still in remission from my incurable cancer a living a great life….. so yes, anew life can happen.
