Limbo land is one of the worst places to be Chaz.

Can u contact your consultant's secretary or cancer nurse specialist to find out what's going on, or have you not seen either yet?

In that case, maybe your GP can chase things for you?

It's worth asking the helpline on 0808 808 0000 or "Ask a nurse" online for their advice too.

Sounds trite, but try n find something to distract you, otherwise it'll play on your mind all the time. I know, I've been living with cancer 14+ years n I tend now to only think of it when my scan results are due. Otherwise, I'd have driven myself bonkers by now !!

Thank you. I've contacted both those, no more info until MDT which was supposed to be 2 weeks ago.

I'm still working which is a focus, but its the quiet times i struggle with....over thinker!

    14 years though....you must be a strong old nut.x

Love the idea of being "a strong old nut" lol. I'm certainly a stubborn one!. I'm an over thinker too, luckily I'm also an avid reader n can escape into a book.

Have a look at the thread "Anxiety buster," started by Ethelmay ,might give you some ideas.

Btw, have u joined the group for your cancer type? You'll then b in touch with ppl whose experience is similar to yours. You could also add a bit to your profile once you know a bit more.

Hi There Chaz,Ive just joned this  group  so not sure what Im doing at the moment, but I seen your post and Im exactly the same.I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago.My consultant told me to go on holiday next day and when I get back everything would be full steam ahead ..firstly a MRI Scan which I had the day  after getting home...but Ive heard nothing since.Ive phoned  and was told average time for a radiographer to go over the scan is between 2/4 weeks .So like you Im in limbo too. Hope  all is ok with you at the moment.x

Why these ppl don't realise what waiting for scan results is like is beyond me.

    OK, mini rant over!

Again, the best thing is to distract yourself. Easier said than done I know. I've been doing it while waiting for the past 14 years! Luckily, I can lose myself in a book...

At least u  2 can compare notes n support each other

Btw, I've changed my user name ( was flOralW0man in case you're wondering Chaz)

Reading stuff online's a no-no really, unless it's a reputable website like Macmillan, CRUK or one dedicated to your specific cancer, eg Kidney cancer UK.

A bad night makes everything seem worse too doesn't it? Have u got support at home lindala?

Bad night doesn't help either, does it either?

U have my sympathies. As I say in my signature, once u know what you're dealing with, then u can cope with it.

.Sorry ,didn't think my post had taken, so typed it all out again lol x
