Hi everyone,
I am a 20 yr old female. My mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. My grandmother had the same cancer. At the moment, I am not in my best state. And I wanted to know what your advice is and how can I cope.
Please and Thank you xx
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm not surprised to hear that you're struggling at the moment having discovered that you mum has breast cancer and that your gran had it too.
I think you might benefit from joining the family and friends group where you can share your feelings and get support from others who have a member of their family dealing with cancer.
You might also like to take a look at this information from Macmillan which talks about coping when someone close to you has cancer.
If you feel that having a chat to someone would help you then I can recommend giving the Macmillan Support Line a call on 0808 808 0000. It's free to call and is available every day from 8am to 8pm.
Sending a supportive ((hug))
