is shop coleslaw ok to eat like Hellman’s mayonnaise is ok?

As long as the base Salad Cream, Mayonnaise / Hollandaise used doesn't contain any trace of uncooked egg it will be ok.
If you check the package ingredients it should include the words contains "Pasteurised Egg Yolk" or something very similar.
Avoid any that are, or could be home made i.e. restaurants (whatever they are)
