Hi Amandas as challenging as the treatment journey gets it’s very important to look for the things that brings light, life and comfort into a your life as you navigate this unwanted journey.
Over my main 2 years treatment (See my story) I had over 750hrs of chemo, 45 radiotherapy zaps and eventually 2 Allogenic (donor) Stem Cell Transplants.
At times the treatment can play havoc with your platelets and brings other challenges…… indeed I had 2 of my 6 cycles delayed for various reasons but in the long run it made no real difference to the outcomes.
Keep living for the silver lining especially during the more challenging times ((hugs))
Hi The Highlander yes i completely agree with you. I have a wonderful family and friends but this cancer journey has had very dark lonely days. Listening to people like yourselves give me hope that brighter days will be ahead for us.
I read your encouraging remarkable story thank you for sharing.
Thanks
Amanda
