Hi I wonder if anyone has any tips or advice about stomach pain while on chemo?
It's a week after my first treatment and my stomach feels sore and as if I have trapped wind.
Rang the hospital who advised paracetamol initially.
Thank you
Sue
Hi suze99 I have had some stomach pain after my first infusion and found a hot water bottle helped, but mine was usually very painful trapped wind. I thought I’d respond to bump your post!
Thank you for your reply. I think mine could have been wind too. The paracetamol helped.
HI suze99 I've had the same problem, I blamed it on acid? I've been taking a Rennie now & again, especially for bedtime. I've also found reducing the amount of fats and keeping food fairly plain helps.
I'm monitoring how I feel against what goes in my mouth to find patterns for next time.
Thank you for your reply. I think your advice to keep to plainer food is a good one.
Appreciate you replying
