Hi everyone,
I have Advanced Prostate Cancer which has spread to my bones, lungs & lymph nodes, I have a telephone consultation on 24th April with my consultant who I hope will tell me I will starting oral chemotherapy shortly (my oncology nurse told me he was 99% certain I would). My question is:- If I do start oral chemotherapy is it to be taken in sessions like IV or over a specific time scale or until it shows it is having no beneficial effect on the cancer. I am only curious on how oral chemotherapy works for Prostate cancer although I do realise that results may vary from person to person.
Cheers, HarleyD.
Hi HarleyD
Having not had chemotherapy I can't answer your questions about taking it but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies to your post yet.
Could I suggest that you also post this question in the prostate cancer group as there will more than likely be people in that group who will be able to help you. Clicking on the link I've created will take you there and you could then copy and paste this post to save you typing it out again.
