Found out that mum needs chemotherapy and me and my father will be supporting her all the way with whatever she needs. I work remotely which is great so I can support all her sessions but I’m also on a Masters course which I’ve been working so hard on and i‘ll find a way to juggle it all ensuring mum has everything she needs but I hate that I have these fleeting moments of selfishness where I think about not wanting to comprise the hard work I’ve put into the course and it makes me so angry.
She’s been such a champion of my studies and I’ve had my own battles to fight to get to this point but I want to be there for her, and my dad, but with work and study and the emotional toll of watching mum go through something I’ve never experienced before is leaving me in a place where I don’t even understand my own feelings.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
