Gosh this is so hard. The realisation that I can do no more to improve his chances of a few more good days. Thankfully not much pain except that from a pressure sore on Coccyx. The longest goodbye and trying to keep cheerful for him but the tears keep flowing. Going to keep Runrig and Skippinish playing on the CD as he loved them both so might help to sooth his soul. His original diagnosis of prostate cancer was not promising and best best guess by Drs was 5-10 years if the treaments worked and here we are 13 nearly 14 years later. Apologies for the having the need to put my difficulties out there into the universe.
