Hi everyone

I'm new to the group and really not coping well.

My dad was given the news on the 14th of October that his kidney cancer has spread and he has 3 to 6 months to live.  He is not eating much and is very unsteady on his feet.

He is being stubborn with food refusing most things and will not wait to walk anywhere resulting in multiple falls.

Still waiting for the carers to start and occ health to asses him for aids to help around the house.

Picked up his dnr order from the doctors on Friday and I ended up collapsing myself.  Now on sick leave for 2 weeks so also now have financial worries on top of everything else this also includes a pulled shoulder after trying to get dad off the floor on Monday when he fell.

I'm sorry to go on but I dont really have any one around to help at the moment - typing is good.

Doctor and practise nurse are out tommorrow.

Does anyone on here have experience of caring for a parent with kidney and lymph cancer with the eating issue - would love some hints and tips.
