Hi my husband has MDS BLOOD CANCER. Any tips on coping with the worry about the future please
Hi LH2
Welcome to the carers group, my wife's cancer is very different but totally get the bit about worrying about the future.
I ended up doing a living with less stress course that really helped me. I was more than capable of imaging things that were quite a lot worse than actually happened and that was stopping me appreciating what we actually have. Often on here people talk of living day to day or even hour to hour and that was perhaps key.
Looking at your emotions when someone has cancer I find I can recognize the emotions and while accepting them as valid they lose some of the power to overwhelm.
<<hugs>>
Steve
