Feeling alone and terrified. She is so brave and I'm a mess.

  • Hi

Welcome to our community - I really hope you find it as useful as I did, you are certainly not alone with us but the feeling is very common as we can see here.

Your feelings are very common. If we look at your feelings when someone has cancer I know I see a lot of the things I went through with my wife's cancer. However recognizing those emotions and accepting them as valid can help to make them feel less overwhelming.

  • Thank you 4 replying.  I will check out the info. How is your wife doing? I hope everything is going well. Take care.

  • hi

The second round of chemo my wife had seems to have put her cancer to sleep. With a bit of work we both got to the point of living with cancer - have been doing that for 10 years now.

  • Thank you for contacting me, what stage is your wife's cancer. I am feeling very distraught. Can't image ten years on from where I am now.

    Congratulations on doing so well.
