Hi all, I've joined as last week my mum got her diagnosis of advanced lung cancer with brain mets. Goodness knows what the next steps are but we're waiting to hear. What we do know is that surgery isn't possible so maybe it's about trying to have as much time with her as possible. Significant weight loss (2 stone) and she has always been small. As a cancer survivor I'm trying to stay strong but I'm scared of what is next

  • Hi FootyMum welcome to the forum.  I dont know what to say as words seem futile as you have so much uncertainty for you all right now. Be assured however we are here whenever you need us to be. Its ok to feel scared, this stuff is scarey and the uncertainty of whats next jts sad so you are perfectly normal in being scared .  i think we all are until we know what we are dealing with.
