Husband has advanced cirrhosis had TAE for tumour 2 weeks ago as can't cure it. Had HepC previously and we coped. Only found tumour month ago and have coped up till now but panicking about his assessment for transplant anyone been through this please.
Hi Ronella
Sorry to hear about your husband, I am afraid that transplant is outside my experience though certainly can relate to the worry about how things might go. I wonder if there might be someone in our Kidney cancer forum who may have experience to share.
One thing I found with my wife's cancer was that reaching out for help was one of the best moves I made - though I was close to breaking point at the time. I did a living with less stress course that really helped me.
<<hugs>>
Steve
