Hi guys,

Here is another update on my wife’s condition, she has now entered end of life care, we have both agreed to end the TPN feed bags and any additional medication that she was on.

To say this has broken my heart is an understatement, but, I totally understand that my wife has in her words “had enough of fighting”.

So we are now at the stage where it’s in the lap of the gods, friends have been brilliant and the ones that want to have said goodbye to my beautiful wife of nearly 18 years.

She will leave us in no pain or suffering which was her request.

Hi Andy, your wife’s courage is amazing. She is choosing what is right for her. My husband and I have been working on his Advanced Care Plan today. It has been overwhelming and emotional, but I feel it is the right thing to be prepared. I respect you both immensely. Sending you both love and peaceful thoughts.

Your wife is clear-sighted and brave. I am so glad the pain management is as it should be. My husband died on the 17th of June. Pain-free and peaceful. I hope for the same for your dear wife. All my best wishes to you both.
