Has any family carers aware of your hospital name calling all family carers :informal carers: and all paid agency staff :carers: I find this highly offensive and i pointed this out at a meeting and told them family carers are paid carers at £10.95 a day.There reply was it is national.!!!!!

Informal carers such as family members are not expected to provide the ‘main support’ during a hospital stay although may be happy to remain involved and partnerships in care should be encouraged.

Sorry to read this but it does appear to be led from this report from June last year.
My sister sometimes had issues dealing with hospitals with my dad and she had lasting power of attorney.
It can be so hard.
