husband was diagnosed with colorectal cancer 18 months ago. He was given a stoma first, which has been an endless source of frustration for him as it prolapsed a few days afterwards and is so long that it’s hard to find a bag to fit properly.
He had radiotherapy, which didn’t work. Then immunotherapy, which also didn’t work. Then 8 rounds of chemo. His latest scan showed that the primary tumour has grown massively, and he also has metastasis to his lungs. We’ve been told that he will have palliative chemotherapy, starting next month. He sleeps almost all day, eats so little and is so dreadfully thin. I feel so helpless- it feels as though I’m watching him slowly fade away.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
