Hi husband has been diagnosed….but waiting on final pathology report to confirm throat cancer. I want to support him as much as possible. He has been told to expect to be off work for up to a year.. want him to feel comfortable at home. Any tips on what he will need? It’s an emotional rollercoaster he just went for an appointment on Wednesday and within five mins was on a ward getting scans biopsies bloods. He is still in hospital and treatment to start asquickly as possible. MDT team meeting Monday or Wed this week then a care plan will be in place.. Any advice on what I should say, do, and get to help him would be greatly appreciated.
