My mom got diagnosed with bowel cancer last year and unfortunately it’s spread to her liver and lungs we made it clear from the start we didn’t want to no her prognosis any how I found out in a veryruel way, I’ve been sorting out her life insurance that’s payable on critical illness and a new member of the insurance team didn’t read threw the notes and told me I’ve been living with this on my own for past month and it’s killing me I just wanted to reach out and talk to someone who’s maybe going threw same thing….
Hi Cazz15
My wife never wanted a prognosis and I really struggled with that so perhaps in some ways I am the least like what you have been looking for. It is worth noting of course that a prognosis is a guess based on averages and of course that is what guides critical illness cover too but then who is average?
<<hugs>>
