Hello,
I'm new to the forums so thought I'd introduce myself. My wife is currently on cycle 4 of a 6 cycle chemo treatment following surgery to remove cancer from her right breast. She will then need a course of radiotherapy.I am 68 years young and my wife is 62. I am her primary carer and suffer from depression. I get extremely tired and recently had a collapse that hospitalised me with very low blood pressure due to dehydration. Seems I've been intent on caring for my other half and not looking after myself properly. My biggest problem is being housebound because I don't want to leave my wife alone for any length of time, but I do get lonely.
Bless you. I do have visits from my grandkids but they have been reduced due to infection risk. We have already had 2 emergency trips to EAB due to infections. Hug returned, hang in there.
