Hi, my mother in law was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer with brain mets 3 weeks ago, we were told she would probably have less than 3 months to live, with this in mind I gave up work to become her carer, we have accepted the fact she is on palliative care, but she is feeling better than she has in a long time, is this something others have found? She feels like she is cheating the system she dosent feel ill has had no symptoms and this diagnosis came as a bit of a shock
Sorry to hear this diagnosis. Cancer is a strange thing. You can feel ok, you can feel terrible, you can feel a bit better again. At different times. Enjoy these times together when she is feeling well. Symptoms can change rapidly. Hugs.
