My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer and secondary bone cancer 6 months ago. He is taking Enzalutamide and having 3 monthly prostap injections. He also has a recently diaģnosed spinal fracture and osteoporosis. Walking is painful, he is very tired all the time and has hot flushes and is very weepy. It's been hard to accept and adjust to things, and nobody really understands although people try to be kind.
I just want to say thankyou to everyone who is involved with this website. Reading other peoples experiences makes me feel less alone and less afraid. I know there's nothing anyone can say or do to change things for us, but realising there are such strong and courageous people going through worse things has given me strength and helped me to cope.
Thankyou all.
Thank you for the feedback, that feeling of loneliness is very common and you are so right that when we share on here we help many people even if some of them never post.
<<hugs>>
Steve
