Good afternoon, all.
Elsewhere, I have seen someone say that they have read the book 'Dear Life' by Dr Rachel Clarke, and they found it helpful when supporting their loved one at end of life. I am considering whether to get a copy, as my mother is undergoing palliative chemo and treatment for pancreatic cancer.
Would anyone recommend this or any other reading to help in these circumstancess?
I'm slightly nervous that anything I read might be overwhelming, but I guess I can always put a book down?! :-)
Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi peppersmum, thanks for flagging this; not a book I had heard of before but it does seem quite interesting. I know I have gone to a number of funerals that have been a real celebration of a life well lived and that can be quite helpful.
There are a few things in our collection that might be helpful https://be.macmillan.org.uk/be/s-620-at-the-end-of-life.aspx - either download PDF or order a copy online.
Most often knowing what we might expect helps - though life does have a way of throwing curve balls.
<<hugs>>
