Probably like all of you so many emotions running through my head unable to concentrate so many questions how do we cope feeling lost my dad beat his cancer but has went on to get a secondary cancer which carnt be treated struggling to understand this heads all over
Hi Sara m ,
So sorry to hear about your dad. One of the things in our after treatment document is a section on if cancer comes back.
My wife and I skipped that stage as her cancer was incurable from diagnosis but chemotherapy did manage to render it stable - not a cure but we are now living with cancer - 6 years and counting.
For you of course it is really very normal to find emotions all over the place. I ended up doing a living with less stress course that really helped me. Learnt to appreciate every day and tips for dealing with the unexpected that were were helpful.
<<hugs>>
Steve
