My husband has been recently diagnosed secondary liver tumours CUP I’m finding it really difficult with well meaning friends and get really upset with the unfairness of why is my family going through this when they are all having a lovely summer . This is to the point where I can’t really bear to see anyone. How do other people deal with the why us?
Hi Super Trouper welcome to the forum.
If I have discovered anything about Cancer in any form it is truly unfair and has no rhyme nor reason to the whys and why not' s or the what if's. You will drive yourself mad going over and over these things as there is no definitive answer unfortunately, it is just life sadly, random as it is.
I suppose my worry is that maybe this is the time when you need people the most and need people to be around you supporting you rather then isolating yourself from them.I do understand that it is difficult but maybe put the why's on the back burner and think instead -how do we make any time that we have the very best that it can be. Life isn't always fair.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
