Hello,  My husband has Stage 4 Lung Cancer, with secondary in his hip, diagnosed in 2019.  We are now awaiting a MRI scan to see if the little bu**er is now in his brain.  I’ve got used to being his career while he still has all his functions and can do a lot for himself.  We’ve been through Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy that caused colitis, so was stopped.  Bouts of extreme pain and know the Bristol Stool Chart backwards!  He used a wheelchair for a while, but is now using crutches.  After coming out of Shielding we had been using the mini break we had in the COVID restrictions to get out and about.  Now with the latest development I’m scared witless about what is to come.

    Hi Vesmal,

I’m so sorry that you and your husband are going through this and I wish you good news once he’s had his latest scan on Sunday (I read your profile ).

Mu husband (52) has stage 4 stomach cancer spread to peritoneum. Was diagnosed xmas Eve 2019 and sadly treatment not worked. He is now very poorly

  • Hi Vesmal

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Don't feel alone in feeling scared witless...most of us around here are.

I'm fairly new around here too. My husband has a glioblastoma, is just about to finish his 6 weeks of radiotherapy/oral chemo...and then we wait.... he  was given 12-15 months following his craniotomy in September.

Keep sharing via here as I've discovered over the past couple of weeks it helps...and it proves you're not the only one going through the nightmare of a journey.

    Hang in there. Big Hugs

    Wee Me

    xx
