It brings me great sadness and with a heavy heart that I must inform my friends on this forum, My wife Tina lost her battle against Small Cell Lung Cancer at 12;40 am. I held her hand while she took her last breaths and I'm just relieved she did not suffer too much.
Thank You to everyone who has supported me along the hard road of this battle. I will forever be in your debt.
God Bless You All
John
Rest In Peace My Lovely Tina 26/04/1951-----18/12/2019
Dear Billy the dog, so sorry to read of your wife's passing but glad it was peaceful and you were there holding her hand to the end. My thoughts are with you.
Sunflowers15. Thank You for your words. I'm glad I was there also but totally broken.
God Bless
John
Billythedog...
I’ve been reading your posts in the last few days I was so hoping for the little miracle that you Guys will have that last Xmas together...
I am so sorry.....
I really hope that that there is someone to look after you now and that you won’t be alone on Xmas day...
Take care xx
Dear Haga, Thank you for your kind message. Myself and my 2 step sons were hoping the same. Sadly this is not meant to be. It had taken a lot of strength out of Tina and it was too much of a fight.
I will be on my own Xmas day but that is just the way I would like it for now. I can sit and remember our 1st xmas where all 4 of us had a Food Fight with Trifle. Black Forest Trifle was being found everywhere for weeks after.
Thank You I will Take Care
God Bless
John
So sorry for your loss. The love you had for her is still there and will always be with you. My husband is on a similar path, l intend to walk with him as you walked every step with your beloved Tina.lt is good that you were with her right to the end. Bless you and all her family.
Trentlady. Thank You for your words. God Bless you with your husbands fight. It is the most awful disease for anyone to have to cope with. Its hard for us carers to watch our Loved Ones suffer the way they do.
I still have a long road ahead but I intend to show her what type of Man she has made ME!
God Bless You Trentlady and your Husband
John
