Hi, my wife has just been diagnosed with mesothelioma, I'm struggling right now to come to terms with this dreadful news
Hi Dino,
I have struggled with the news of my husbands lung cancer for the last 6 weeks! I have finally got some help today from our local hospice which I tried on the off chance! I feel a bit happier now and reassured! It will take a while to get over the shock but then you can be more practical and it might help! Take care xx
Hey Akela,I'm glad your feeling a bit better about things,I am still in shock that's for sure, can't face work,or even the outside world right now.I know it's wrong, but just can't seem to pull myself together. Thanks for the reply, you also take care x
Hi Dino1
It's not wrong, it's perfectly normal. I think we all feel the same on here in many ways. Don't try to push yourself into just carrying on as before, because that will just grind you down. Feel free to let rip and rant on here if you feel the need, it's a safe place to do exactly that.
