My Dad only passed away on October 28th last year and now my Mum has ovarian cancer and it's terminal . Just hoping that someone out there has a family member who has had ovarian cancer and even though prognosis was terminal, they have survived it. I just feel so desperate not to loose her too. Anyone else??
Hi and welcome to the community though sorry to hear about your dad and now yoiur mum. There are so many questions that would need to be asked before even an expert could come up with a guess at a prognosis, My wifes cancer us rather different but has benn incurable from the start and we have been living with cancer now for 6 years and as things stand at the moment she is more likely to die in a road traffic accident than from the cancer.
I did a living with less stress course that really helped me cope, especially the living in the here and now rather than thinking how will I cope when since nobody knows exactly what tomorrow will bring. It might help to look through I'm looking after someone with cancer as I feel sure there will be things there you can relate to.
<<hugs>>
Steve
