I’ve been on a multi-year journey to understand, treat and hopefully cure my skin cancers. I’m hoping to share my journey and my results in an attempt to understand what may be working, what hasn’t worked and what else I should try to reduce the frequency of skin cancer events and surgeries.

For those of you also on this terrible journey, please feel free to weigh on this, share your findings, tips, medical advice etc. Let me know what you’ve tried, if anything has moved the needle positively or negatively.

This has been an emotional and physically demanding saga but I hope we can contribute to the communities body of knowledge by sharing our stories, our triumphs and our sorrows.

Thanks in Advance.

In 2020 I had my 1st biopsy on my leg. It came back as a squamous cell carcinoma and i had a Moh’s surgery

Since then i have had 9 more and 3 basil cell carcinoma surgeries

I do a full skin check every 2 months now

I have tried fasting-eating clean-no sugar-no alcohol-RSO-vitamin B -hyperbaric chamber-and vitamin C IV’s

I am a 70 year old woman of good health with a long history of sunbathing. I was a smoker for 50 years but have had no lung issues or major other health problems. I quit smoking cigarettes at the age of 55 but still vape to a lesser extent. I used to snack on sugary foods but have changed my diet significantly. There is no history in my family tree of skin cancers.

Height - 5:9

Weight - 121lbs

In winter 2020, just before Christmas I noticed a sore on my leg (right shin). After a dermatologist visit it was biopsied and determined to be squamous cell carcinoma and was fully removed with Moh’s surgery.

My dermatologist recommended a checkup every 6 months moving forward. On the next visit, dema found a number of pre-cancel spots on arms and legs and chest. Maybe 5-6 in total. We froze off all the spots successfully.

6 months later during the next checkup 5-6 more pre-cancer spots were found in the same areas and it was recommended to start using a chemo cream on my chest. 5 days of topical cream. The cream turned my skin bright red but I didn’t have any other negative side effects.

September/October 2021 another squamous cell carcinoma spot was found on my left shin and was cut out with Moh’s surgery. Chest was clear on this checkup. 5-6 more pre-cancer spots were found on legs and arms and frozen. Weeks later, one of the spots that frozen appeared to re-establish so another biopsy was performed and determined to be squamous cell carcinoma and was removed with Moh’s surgery.

Dermatologist recommended visits change to every 3 months. For the next two years, every visit showed 5-6 pre-cancer spots and once or twice a year we find a squamous or basil cell carcinoma spot that requires surgery to remove. Basil cell spots have been on my chest, my nose, my ear. Squamous cell carcinoma spots have been on my arms and legs and one on my chest. I have used the same chemo cream on my legs and once more on my chest.

Currently in summer 2026, I am still getting 5-6 pre-cancer spots every 3 months with the same frequency of Basil/Squamous cell carcinoma’s showing up.

Remedy attempts

In 2023 I radically changed my diet, cutting out nearly all sugars and alcohol. I have also tried 2 months of KETO diet, multiple rounds of 30-day RSO/Cannabis oil treatments both edible and topical rubs on problem areas. I’ve done doses of 1000mg niacin/vitamin b3 regimens for over a year and a half. And for the last year I’ve been spending 60 minutes in a hyperbaric chamber twice a week.

X5 vitamin C IV treatments in a month.
