Hi,
does anyone have any experience of immunotherapy affecting kidneys? My husband has stage 4 melanoma of the lungs and has had 5 immunotherapy treatments now.
The last 3 months he has had swollen feet and this month it's got worse with hands also swelling and a puffy face. Blood results showed very high creatinine levels and slightly raised urea. And yes he drinks loads of water. 
I am wondering, if there is kidney damage, will it recover? Does treatment tend to get paused or stopped?
We have an appointment with the oncology doctor next week and just thinking about questions we need to prepare.

I'm sorry to read that your husband's immunotherapy treatment has caused a problem with his kidneys.
I hope you don't mind me recommending that you also post this is the melanoma group as you'll then connect directly with others who are having immunotherapy treatment for melanoma that has spread and who might have experienced the same problem as your husband.
