Hi all
Dad was recently diagnosed with in operable cancer of the esophagus.
3 biopsies later - all are inconclusive.
We are now waiting for an ultrasound biopsy to determine cancer type.
He has not been seen by an oncologist yet either.
Just wondering if anyone has had similar situation - what treatment was offered, outcomes etc.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Moon3
I'm sorry to read that your dad has recently been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and that surgery is not an option.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this in the oesophageal cancer group, where I can see you've posted before, as you'll then connect directly with others who can tell you what treatment options they were offered for this type of cancer.
Wishing you and your dad all the best
