Hi, has anybody experienced the following when using the Flip Flo valve on catheter. When ready to go for a wee I open valve and go and then it suddenly stops with small jolt. Is this normal? Has any body got a bit of advice on best way to manage a Flip Flo?

I can't answer your question but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies. I tried using the search facility in this group to look for previous posts mentioning a Flip Flo valve but drew a blank.
As I can see that you've posted in the bowel cancer group before, could I suggest that you post this question there (presuming that this is to do with your bowel cancer) and hopefully someone there will be able to help you.
