Hi, Can anyone give me advice, I finished my Radiotherapy in Jan 2020, I felt a lump in my forearm, then I found 2 more at the top of my arm, Thursday I found another 3, I am not sure but, I know you have lymph nodes down your arm, and wondered if my Cancer has spread to there, I went to my GP who will write to my oncologist, and to try to push forward my scan, I still don't what this is, but they feel hard do not move and I am pretty certain they are lymph nodes.

Has anyone had the same? My oncologist told me I am lucky to be alive, the cancer was in my breast, and it had spread to the lymph nodes under my armpit. I really do think my cancer has started to metastasize, Can anyone help me with any way I can get this sorted out.?

  • Hi

I can't help with your question, as I haven't had the same thing happen to me, but thought I'd suggest that you also post this in the breast cancer group which I can see you're a member of. Clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.

It sounds like you've done the right thing in going to see your GP but have you also spoken to your BCNS as she might be able to get things moving quicker than your GP can?

When you have a minute it would be useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
