Morning all, bright and sunny here today and I am glad to report I feel much the same. It is amazing how ones outlook can change with a bit of sunshine. Heres sending some rays of sunshine to evetyone here.

I am looking forward to the sweeties later.

  • Hello, good morning all, it's cloudy here, and we anticipate rain.....argh, haven't we had enough yet?

My choice of sweeties, the good old sherbet fountain! (yes, you can still find them in a good sweet shop!)

Hope everyone is doing as well as possible today.....

    Hugs to you all xxx

Managed to get out for a walk along the canal whilst the sun shone this morning. Baby Coots were off the next and Little Grebes busy building so there'll be more babies soon. Managed three miles so resting now before meeting a friend for lunch.

Gillian, when do you find out more about your chemo? Glad you are feeling ok, I too am looking forward to the sweetie delivery tonight, does anyone remember crime soda Sherbert? It was powder rather then crystals. We used to have competitions to see who could get the most in their mouth without choking, yes-clearly I was a pleasant child lol!

Well it's raining hard here now, Moomy looked at weather for later in the week and, you were right, Summer may arrive for a couple of days.

    Love Jakki xxx

I go to see the oncologist on Wednesday so may have a plan then. Trying to get myself stronger in the meantime. Trying to do the exercises etc.

I remember a sherbet where you put lots in your mouth and looked like you were foaming at the mouth. Children are such delightful creatures arent they. We thought it was histerical when we were little.

Cream soda not crime soda, although that might be more apt!

    Good luck for Wednesday xx

  • Will be thinking of you for Wednesday, Gillian, and hoping things go well....

Crime soda? Opens a whole new train of thought, Jakki......

    Hugs to you all xxx

Lol, did you ever do yellow death with a Jaffa cake? Well, if not you have to try it. Nibble all the biscuit away, lick off the choc and you are left with a circle of orangey/yellow jelly. Stick it to your hand and run up to people waving it and shouting yellow death!!

Oops sorry, don't know what came over me! Thanks for the Pick and Mix, love it and if there's no flying saucers I can minesweep one of Christine's before she comes-shhhh.

Glad you had a good day,

    Love Jakki xx
