Cold wet miserable day today.
This morning spent a very frustrating one and a half hours on the phone with E On whilst a representative from every department explained to me why they had to follow their policy and close my energy account which was in Rays name an open a new one in my names with a new tariff which will cost me an extra £250 a year. I don't know why so many people had to tell me the same thing and confirm just how great their lack of compassion and understanding is after 15 years of loyal custom.
As I said to my daughter it is just as well they were not face to face with me as I would not have been responsible for my actions.
Anyway noce couple of hours in the plY barn with the Grandchildren enjoying themselves and now I can enjoy my flying saucers!!

Jakki you have made me cry with laughter,him indoors has just said he reckons we've had too many e numbers in the past & it's made us all mad,he has no sense of adventure or an active imagination

Christine, that's really awful, can you not complain to an ombudsman or someone, maybe your MP?
It's bad enough when they won't talk to you on the phone cos it's hubs name on the bill, but to charge you more, that's pants!

I was really surprised that this happened. We always had problems getting information but once you work the account on line you can get all the info you want crazy!
i put in the complaint and they just passed me from person to person each one saying exactly the same thing as the last. They are right, this is their policy, data protection, credit checking blah blah blah!!
At the end I lost the will to live. My next stage is the Ombudsman once they send me a letter telling me once again how they have done everything according to their policies and informed me of this at every stage blah blah blah. They are just like record players all churning out the same words over and over again with no heart or soul and no compassion at all! Robots.
i have sent an enmail to,the CEO if he gets it I don't know. Anyway I have switched now to Scottish Power on a tariff exactly the same as the one EON took me off.
it is bad enough being a widow without all the stress and they just don't seem to care at all.
Thats terrible Christine. Have you thought to change prpvider. You mat well save,money and uave the added satisfaction of telling them where to put the account. Brand loyalty does not pay these days. I saved a fortune transfering to Ovo.
