I see we are following a food theme again, it's a wonder we're not all obese! We had a eating up tea which included pitta, humous, tomatoes and pasta, also hubby stuck some sausages in, love that finish up stuff in the fridge tea! I am addicted to tomatoes with balsamic vinegar at minute, it seems to cut through yuck mouth.

I have been a misery guts today, we call it chemo Sunday here, I am quite horrid, it's a wonder they don't all move out! Oh well will feel a little better tomorrow and usually much more my usual self by Tuesday.

Gillian, your windy horses cheered me up a bit though, thanks for that.

Lynda, so glad the May Pole and May Queen event was not marred by rain, fingers crossed for that sunshine Moomy is promising by the end of the week.

Carol, glad you have had some time off cooking duties, I tend to go for quick and easy cooking, hate to be in the kitchen too long!

have brought in some biscuits as I can eat them in here even on chemo weekend! Please help yourselves, there is a pot of coffee and one of tea on the table, also a jug of hot chocolate for anyone who needs a bit of comfort.

    Love to all xxx

Yes, we are definitely all obsessed by food.

I'm of the whatever is easiest to cook school at the moment. Just can't be bothered to faff around, and quite often when I have cooked I don't want to eat it anyway.

The lamb was nice, I think I will freeze the rest or i will get fed up with eating it.

I I bought some yummy special balsamic vinegar at the garden show yesterday.

Oh dear, I have a picture of windy horses in my mind now.

  • Lynda, me too, windy horses have to be sooo smelly! Hasn't a windy horse got colic? If not, why not?

Went out for Sunday lunch, and now cannot think of food......oh dear!

    Hugs to you all xxx

Gillian they do every sweet you can imagine, would you like a bag of each, sherbert pips & jelly babies it is Jakki

This hot chocolate is lovely, been a long time since i had a cup of this, not having a bisccuit though as i've just eaten 2 cream cakes!!

Sorry you feel bit grumpy Jakki but i'm sure they still love you just like him indoors did me the other week when i spent most of my time in bed so i didn't have to speak to him

I'm all for in & out the kitchen as quick as possible, that's why i love my slow cooker, bung it all in & turn it on as we leave for work & tea's ready when we walk in the door after work & we love leftovers,i put them in the freezer & every now & then i take some out & whip up a meal, trouble is i often forget to label meat so we have no idea what it is till we taste it

    xx

  • Sister Snail, your last remark took me back to TV's 'Open all Hours' when Arkwright had a lot of tinned foods without the labels and was deciding what they were by shaking them, very funny!

    Hugs to you all xxx

It is really just wonderful that your Hubbies trust you to serve them something good to eat so they don't feel the need to direct you to any particular dinner!!

Jakki I hope you soon feel better from your chemo symptoms.

I would like some flying saucers please.

Gillian I hope you enjoyed your walk and are feeling better.

    Lynda enjoy your wine.

    love and hugs all xxx
