Glad the sun shone. We have sunshine and gales forecast for tomorrow

I would do mash because I like to soak the gravy into it.

we have lamb chops for dinner and strawberries and cream ..yum

We have heen along the lane a little way just to get some fresh air,  it was warm in the sun out of the wind.

    Hello

I'm just passing through on my way to the bathroom, very busy day & i'm in need of a soak

I've put triffle in the fridge'it has nothing on top but there is custard, dream topping & whipped cream in the fridge so please help yourself

I'd go with roast as i like to have bread with lamb gravy, especially when it has mint sauce in it,i'm having sweet & sour tonight & him indoors is having curry,he went to iceland today so we don't have to cook tonight

So pleased you got to see the little ones dance,we had a shower about 4am but the east has been sunny with a cool breeze

    Love & hugs to all

    xx

It's lovely to see the kids continuing the tradition. Some of the older ladies there were reminiscing over when they were May Queen, must have been 50 or 60 years ago.

even better I have just had a call form the organiser of the raffle to say I won a bottle of white wine!

The lamb has been cooked in the slow cooker with tin of tomatoes, tin of mixed beans, wine, mint, thyme, garlic, and onion. So not a traditional gravy. I think I will go for mash, it seems pointless putting the oven on just for a few potatoes.

    The grass is always greener.....

Of course it is...we have four Shetland ponies in a field at the bottom of the garden when we cut the grass they come over in hope. But the cut grass is bad for them, it gives them gas in their tummies because they dont have to crop it and chew it. So the grass may be greener but...

Well i never knew that, you learn something new everyday, windy ponies, not something i want to be around

Well i finally have to admit defeat & return to cooking tomorrow,we've had 2 weeks of picnics, takeaways & eating out & him indoors has just said what are you cooking for tea tomorrow,at the minute i have no idea so he'll get a surprise

When I ask hubby what he wants for dinner, he always answers something nice. As if I would do something horrid.

I usually get what have we got in the freezer or i don't mind, don't know about you but i have pretty much the same meat in there all the time & as we've been together 13 years now i'm bewildered by the fact he still has to ask but what really annoys me is when i give him 2 options & he says whatever's easiest for you, well not cooking's easiest so if you don't make a choice that's what's happening

I'm off to the sweetie shop tomorrow so if anybody wants anything say so now

    xx
