Good morning Gillian1,
I don't want to sound like I am bragging to all you folk in the middle and thebottom, but despite it being a bit dull, we are all dry as a bone at the top.
Very unusual, as if there is any bad weather around, we usually get the largest share of it.
Hope you find lots to keep you entertained indoors, and enjoy your Sunday.
love Chris xxxx
We live near Newcastle upon Tyne Jakk.
It is about time we had some good weather accross the country though, isn't it. Hopefully June will be a sunny month to get our vitamin D levels up.

Fingers crossed Chris, enjoy the dry today and send a bit this way

I will do my best to share with you.

It has finally stopped here in the Lakes.
keep your fingers crossed for this afternoon. It is the village May Queen fair at 2pm. I love to see the children dancing round the maypole and my friends daughter is the May princess this year, it will be such a pity if it rains.
I have everything crossed for the weather this afternoon Lynda. we now have a little sun peaking through the clouds, and still dry.
Hope the May Fair goes well. Xxxxxx
Hope that May fair is going well and they get to dance round the Maypole......
apparently, summer is due to begin about halfway through this next week......believe it or no.....(mind you, can one trust the weather forecasters?)....but it will most likely end 3 days later!
Hugs to you all xxx

The May fair went well. The rain cleared around lunchtime hand held off while the kids danced round the maypole. It was freezing though. We were all glad to get into the hall.
Im curled up indoors watching location now. Lamb shank cooking in the slow cooker smells delicious. I can't decide whether to do roast potatoes or mash to go with it.
So glad it went well, and they got to dance, it's a lovely sight.....as to roast or mash, why not a bit of both? lol!
hugs xxx
