I know what it's like when you're desperate for a cuppa & can't get one so if they don't mind drinking it outside i'm more than happy to make one for them
Work tomorrow but it will be another busy one as we're now short staffed till the boss finds suitable people that are prepared to work weekend,i don't mind the extra hours now the atmosphere's better,i stamped my authority on the girl i'm now going to be working with when we got to work this morning & i'm sure we'll be just fine
Pleased you had a good day out today,we need to get out in the garden but weather doesn't look promising for a few days now which is a shame as my brother is in the Isle of Man for the TT
I'm no good at making cards but i do like to buy handmade ones when i'm at a craft show
xx
Hi All Sister you are a kind and loving soul and that obviously shines through. Have a good rest now and a lovely day tomorrow.
Lynda I am happy you had a nice day with a kindrid soul, hope you are looking forward to your move and it progresses smoothly. (Hate that word widow!)
I do hope the weather tomorrow is not as gloomy as forecast. I managed to plant a few pots today and tidy up the garden.
judt having a Chinese so prawn crackers there if anyone wants some
xx
Yes Christine, I hate that aw word too. Even more I hate it when I have to select it instead of married. the friend is someone I met through way up.
i make all my cards, have done for about 10 years now. I used to sell them at craft fairs but haven't done for a while.
i think I will pass on the prawn crackers thanks as im sitting here eating ricotta an sun dried tomato ravioli with a sauce made from olives, capers, sultanas, chilli,, butter and pine nuts. Yummy.
Thank you Christine, everybody on here is so very kind & i don't know what i'd do without you all,i do try to treat people as i would like them to treat me & i hate it when staff are rude to customers so i try not to be & i do so enjoy my job again
We've just had chinese & i have a very full tummy so i too will pass on the prawn crackers thank you, Lynda your tea sounds lovely, hope you enjoy it
I'm off to the sweetie shop monday so all orders need to be in by tomorrow night please

Ooh yes please, prawn crackers lovely! Thanks Christine, what food did you have?
Carol, it is lovely to hear you sounding so positive, glad things are good at work it's so important to enjoy your job.
Moomy glad you have had a good couple of days, well done to your daughter, she sounds very talented.
Lynda, you are certainly keeping busy, great that you are meeting up with new people that must take some guts.
I have been for a lovely walk with Hubby today and the sun shone for us, the birds sang also I managed over an hour's walk on chemo weekend so that was pretty good going. Only two more chemo so to go then I can start to get my fitness back properly.
Hubby did a bike then run today, his training is going really well for the triathlon, only two weeks to go!
love Jakki xx
Good to hear everyone is having a busy and enjoyable weekend.
The walk sounds good Jakki. I was sat here in my lounge yesterday and heard a cuckoo outside, then I saw the woodpecker and a nuthatch in the tree.
every meet up takes a bit of a self talking to to get me out of the door. But so far I haven't chickened out of any of them, and more importantly once I get there I have enjoyed myself.
Anyway ay it requires no ore courage than facing the chemo some of you are still having.
so I raise my glass to all of us.....strong women dealing with this cr@p disease.
Hi Jakki
All sining all dancing again now, feel like the old me & am ready to face whatever poo life throws at me
Well done you,i'm hopeing that one night after work we'll go off somewhere with a picnic & have a nice walk, pleased hubbys training is coming along & i look forward to hearing all about it
xx
Good morning all
can anyone tell me when summer will come, it is wet again here in the middle.
We will have to find out what might ve on the agenda today. Not a lot I suspect as I still feel exhausted, taking it easy seems to be my middle name
Hope you all have a good day
Its wet at the bottom as well? have a good day too/
Yep, we are wet in the middle Gillian but due to brighten up later, think a lazy morning followed by afternoon walk may be the order of things.
Anybody doing anything fun today?
Xx
