Jakki, you can have whatever you want,i will be having a bag of pick & mix when i go

We like all the fishcakes from there & i always get 4 lots when we go & put them in the freezer

Not had a lamb & mint pie for ages,we used to get them from a butcher near us but the last lot weren't very nice,my favourite pie is chicken & mushroom

Has anybody else noticed that whatever subject we start on we always seem to bring food or alcohol into it

Early nights for me for the next 2 weeks,TT practice starts tomorrow & unlike my lucky brother who's there i have to watch the highlights on the telly :-(

    xx

Food and alcohol are very comforting, maube that is why conversation tends to drift that way.

Anyhow bedtime for me, in fact I am late so must be feeling better.

Hope you feel brighter soon Jakkie, the problem with chemomis, when you go for it you know what is coming to the minute.

    So onwards and upwards.

  • Hello all, back from a couple of days away, yesterday we watched loads of Brass Bands competing in Greenfield, Saddleworth, was interesting, but both felt like we could give brass bands a miss for a day or two, haha

A few of daughter's friends (plus her of course) got together, mad up a scratch band, rehearsed for about half an hour, and in one village, out of 43 bands they came 5th! I gather most of the bands rehearse for months.....daughter was well pleased to hear they came 5th! We still wait for the rest of the results....

    Hugs xxx

    Evening all.

sister that was a lovely thing to do.

whats the big day tomorrow, anything exciting?

Moomey, sounds like you had a good, if exhausting, break.

ive been to a local garden show today with a new friend (Also a widow). We had a good time wandering round all the stalls, and each bought a few plants. Mine will live in pots until I get a new garden for them.

the forecast here is for rain tomorrow, so I'm planning a card making day.
