Lol, can just see him indoors' face if you turn up in a thermal vest, bit of a passion killer, made me chuckle.

Had a lovely day with my cousin, they just popped to check into hotel and we have a table booked to eat out later. They could stay at ours but like to make a bit of a holiday out of their trip.

Just came in for a recharge brought some gin and tonic, there's a lemon in the fridge, thought I'd enjoy a pre dinner drink in here as it doesn't count towards the couple I'll allow myself tonight. Please help yourselves, there is also some elderflower pop for those who are not drinking at the moment.

hope everyone saw the sunshine today.

    Love Jakki xx

    Hi All,

Sounds like everyone is upbeat today, Gillian I shall be thinking of you tomorrow, Carol I did laugh about the lacy thermals what about the lacy hanky and not much else :-) Jakki glad your enjoying your visitors and hope you have a nice meal with them tonight, Moomy, glad you get to see "whirlwind" a bit before she's off again Lynda how's the house hunting going? Mary brilliant news and I will have a glass or two with you to celebrate,  We had a lovely journey on the steam train today and hopefully might get up Snowdon tomorrow weather permitting, just having a sit in the sun with a glass of wine and looking forward to another meal out tonight. Thinking of you all lots xxxx

  • Hmm, dear Carol, a bit of padding is required....(an old sock?) ......I bet him indoors will be enjoying your company far too much to notice, anyway, enjoy your special lace evening!

Macaroni cheese in the oven, have made loads so there will be enough for half the world! I never get the amount of pasta quite right per portion, always put in a bit more 'in case'! I promised the whirlwind I'd make that for her tonight. She's just had a nap on the sofa, jet lag still hitting her, not surprising with work (rehearsal) early today, a drive here, a rehearsal tonight and then drive back down, and an even earlier rehearsal tomorrow on the south bank!

    Hugs to all xxx

    Moomy

  • Hi Polarbear, glad the break is going well!

Gillian, sending you big hugs for tomorrow, pop in when you can to let us all know how you are

Polarbear, glad the steam train was fun, hope the weather is behaving for you!

Carol, chicken fillets, not real ones but you can buy these things to slip in your bra, my friend had some when we were young as she was a late developer, they might still do them. Perhaps you could try a real chicken fillet tonight as a temporary fix!!?? Xx

Ohh macaroni cheese, hope there are leftovers Moomy.

    Gillian, hugs for tomorrow.

Christine and Mary, hope you are both well. Sending G and T cheers.

    xx

Pop the chicken fillet in, wait for the Tamoxifen induced hot flush.......dinner is cooked!

actually I sympathise as I have one bigger than the other....the operated on one is bigger due to lymphodema.

we had a power cut today.....another thing I discovered is unreasonably scarey when you are on your own. No internet, no tv, no radio, silent house. I was so glad when it came back on.

just poured a glass of wine, and pizza for tea tonight. Lazy I know.

Moomy, I hate Mac cheese, love pasta, love cheese sauce, love cauli cheese.......just don't know what it is about Mac cheese but I hate it. Sorry :(

polarbear, not sure if you meant me but I'm not seriously house hunting. The sale of our old house went through, the money is safely invested in the bank as I am living in what used to be our old holiday home. Only two bedroom, but plenty big enough for me.

No problem Jakki..........it's impossible to keep up with everyone on this busy thread.

Hello all thanks for good wishes.

Itis really difficult to keep up with everyone, so big hugs to you all as anyone on the forum probably needs one.

Itis difficult getting to the end of the thread to post, I go to the bottom of page 1then click the double arrow. Is there any way of making it quicker as newer or less computer savvy folk may loose patience with 38 pages.
