Have a fantastic time Polarbear & i hope weather is kind to you while you're away

Me too Gillian,i'm not a big drinker but i do like a glass of wine with a meal when we go out & i have a small bottle of honey jack daniels in the freezer that's laughing at me because i can't drink it,pleased you had a nice lunch & catch up

Oh dear Jakki, these teenagers are a pain when it comes to exams, the step hasn't got time to just call in & say hello to me at work even though he goes past to go back home as he's revising for A levels that he doesn't want to do as he's got a full time job to go to

Think it may be an early night & lay in tomorrow for me,i'd forgotten how much 2 year olds can wear you out when you've got one all day

    xx

  • Evening All, I'm celebrating a good result from my visit to the Wizard of Onc today! So there is a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, and smoked salmon and cream cheese! Enjoy! My feet are up, and I'm nicely balanced, glass in one hand, remote in the other! Have a good evening all. Much love, XX

  • Oh Mary, that IS good to hear! I've raised a glass to you too!

Carol, feet up, ( that's an order!)  2year olds are exhausting! A glass for you, too?

Jakki, (poor you!)how dare you insist on revision??? What are they like, expecting to do exams off the cuff?!? Daughter now admits she could have got better results as she knows she didn't work hard, but she has her first class degree, what more does she need?

a steam train ride? I know he will enjoy it, I hope you do too, Polarbear!

I now have my feet up as all the washing is done, dry and aired, and our whirlwind lass is in London, but only till tomorrow when she comes to us -But just for dinner, then to a local rehearsal and then back to London.......an early night for me, I'm tired....as I've got so fed up with medication causing ankle and foot pain I went to the quack, his answer? Amitryptilline......a low dose just at night, together with the Claritin I bet I will be zonked out when I eventually do try it!  Maybe Saturday....( Jakki, he had never heard of this for use for bone pain.  So I said he needed to remember just in case he has any patients on G-CSF, he did look up doses for me, says that short term taking two is ok, long term that could cause liver and kidney problems)

    hugs to you all xxx

Great Mary I am so pleased, just having a glass and toasting your good news cheers.

Moomy thanks for the tip I only took 4 over two days so should be ok with that (at most I'll only need to do it three more times Whoop!). Hope your new meds sort out your pain and that you get some quality sleep.

Our boy is much happier now, he just helped us put up the bathroom cabinet and we let him do all the drilling so he is a happy boy once more! It's really weird him being hormonal as he has always been really laid back.

I am now typing with my left hand as youngest is insisting on a tickle so will pop back when he has gone to bed.

    love Jakki x

Carol, what a great sleep. I forget how tiring mine were when they were little until I have my nephews for a few days, I love their energy but I'm ready for a rest when they go home!

Kettle was still warm thanks. Ooh your anniversary meal, you need to wear a bit of lace. I tried to look what our next anniversary was but couldn't find anything for 19 years, any ideas?

Waiting for my cousin to arrive, she is due in about an hour, she's such a joy to be around; vibrant and positive, I am so looking forward to a catch up, it's been a year! (She lives in Cornwall)

Hope you are enjoying your holiday Polarbear and that everyone else is well. Leaving a coffee pot out in case Anyone bobs in in next ten minutes.

    Enjoy your day all

    Love Jakki xx
