Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
My head is spinning with all this chat. It is good to hear everyone is a bit more upbeat. I have felt quite perky today so have made the most of it. One good thing I don't seem to feel guilty now when I do have a good day.
I take care of my little Grandchildren aged 1 and 3 two and a half days per week. It is exhausting but it keeps me busy and makes me smile. I can manage my little girl but when Jacob is at home it is exhausting so glad he goes to nursery and has his fun.
I am am meeting up with a friend off the site tomorrow for a couple of hours in the evening, we are both recently widowed and enjoy one another's company. Each time we meet it is more smiles and less tears.
Lacy undies sound interesting Carol have a wonderful anniversary. I would go for aqumarine over copper.
Jakki have fun with your cousins.
Polar bear have fun on your break.
Gillian will be thinking of you tomorrow xxxx
Moomy sorry don't like macaroni cheese reminds me of school dinners!!

Lost the thread now so will just have a G and T and be thankful for everyone's good times and for the love on this site.
Now you come to mention it apart from the power cut today has been a good day. No idea why, except that I have a busy weekend planned now.
work in London Friday (so that occupies my whole day with the travel as well), meet up with local friend and other I don't know yet (but all widows/widowers) Saturday, and a meet up with two people from this site Monday.
looking after grandchildren, hard work but hopefully lovely too. I wish my grandson lived closer. I'm luckily if I see him once every three months.
hope everyone is having a good relaxing evening.
pizza in the oven, wine in hand, and sitting back to enjoy Holby now.

Good luck tomorrow Gillian
Thanks to all for the boob advice, not sure about the sock but what a brilliant way to cook a chicken fillet,we're still laughing
Pleased you're having a good holiday Polarbear,my turn next week & i can't wait
Well the chippy turned out to be a little pub just out of town & we had a lovely pork roast
xx
Really glad you enjoyed that meal out, Carol! (Did you wear that lacy underwear?)
Christime, looking after grandchilren has to be ace, even if exhausting! Once looked after two 'under threes' while parents took up a prize long weekend break, I was only in my 20's but because they both had health problems, (and their Mum had post natal depression too), I found it shattering, plus was not too used to little ones then, either. However, it did the couple a power of good, and they have never forgotten it. Unfortunately looking after grandchildren is not an option for us, daughter cannot after all the chemo she's had....
Gillian, I really hope today goes well for you, we are all thinking of you and sending great vibes....do post when you are able, but don't rush back, if you know what I mean?
Mary, hope all is well.....Polarbear, carry on enjoying your break.......
Lynda, hubs has got back into Holby too, think the new CEO has stirred him up!
fresh coffee on and the kettle is hot for tea....
hugs xxx
