Hello everyone,
the title says it all, this is a thread for everyone at any and all hours of day and night, to post, help, laugh, cry and anything in between. There will be no nasty posts, everyone who joins in will be gentle, considerate and kind to everyone else. Hugs to all......xxx
Sorry about the weather Carol, it's beautiful now.
I have come in to snuggle on the bean bag with my miserable face, I am struggling to be positive today and then I feel bad because I know I am so much better off than many people.
I think the chemo drugs make me a bit low and that, with the fact that I am useless on Bank Holiday weekend again (Easter fell the same) is making me not very pleasant company today. So if no one minds I'll just hide out in here and be grumpy on my own.
Tiptoes quietly in & puts a bar of chocolate & glass of fizz by the beanbag & hopes they are allowed
xx
Oh no I don't want to scare everyone away, please come in, I'll only talk if I've got something nice to say promise xxxx
big hugs for Jakki....oh and dear Carol too.....
(my baby is safely in Rio, by the way!)

Moomy
So pleased your baby has safely landed Moomie, you must have been relieved to hear from her, always nice to hear the youngsters arrive safely
Didn't want to disturb you if you just wanted to be quiet,i'm put the kettle on if you fancy a cuppa & i don't mind if you're grumpy
xx
Yes please, tea for me Carol, when you next come to Matlock you have to try the afternoon tea for two at the cafe, it's such good value, hubby and I often sneak out for one.
Moomy glad she's landed safely, guess I've got all this to come when the boys leave home, we'll always worry about our babies.
xx
Do you take milk & sugar
The scone i had was lovely & they do a lovely cuppa,we may be over at the end of the month when we're on holiday so we'll have one then
Even as old as i am (i'd love to say 21 but dad brought us up not to fib so i can't) i'm still mum & dad's little girl
xx
Just milk please.
It's hard to let them grow up sometimes, my boys are both teenagers and we are all learning about independence. They are the most fabulous, moody, caring, lazy boys and I love them to bits!
Feeling a little better now, must get out for a good walk tomorrow, thanks for being there Carol and Moomy xxx
I never had kids (personal choice) but him indoors has an 18 year old so i've been a big part of his growing up,i was fine till he got a motor bike then passed his test & got a car, every time he visits i'm the one saying "let us know when you get home" i'm sure he thinks i'm mad,i love all the little ons that call me aunty or nana to bits & the ones up your way will come to us for holidays but it will be one at a time, the first one will be here in august, that's when we're off to Blechley so if you were serious about going we'll see you there
xx
