Hello all
Goodness me Christine what a busy house it was this morning, hope you're not going to have to have a medical every day, mind you rather that than the nappy smells
The coffee morning went very well & we raised £182.40p,i've put lemon & chocolate cupcakes & some slices of fruit & lemon drizzle cake on the side, please help yourselves
I also have news to share with you all,my mammogram results were here when i got home & all is well,no abnormalities detected,yippee,4 down,1 to go,big hug & few tears from him indoors :-) i've put a couple of bottles of wine & a bottle of schloer in the fridge so we can have a drink later
Love & hugs to all
xx
Wow, that is the most wonderful news. I am grinning, will definitely raise a glass with you xxxxx
Hi Carol,
That's brilliant news all round, so pleased your results were good and you have done so well from the coffee morning. Well done, I shall have a glass of wine and a cake later, lovely to be celebrating good news.
Hi Carol,
such GREAT news, so pleased for you! And a great coffee morning, too, terrific!
Big hugs xxx

Weeeeeee, this is fun,i found a scooter at the bottom of the garden & it's years since i had a go,i'll leave it by the door when i'm done incase anybody else wants a go
Thank you all & thank you all for yous hugs & support over the last few weeks,it meant a lot to me & i certainly couldn't have done today without you all
Weeeeeeee
xx
Hope you don't mind but just took the scooter out back for a little spin, very energising! I am now ready to face the day.
Has anyone else suffered from pre-chemo blues? I am always a bit low the day before, find it hard to settle or do anything productive!
Hope you are all well, had friends round for dinner last night so have put left over lasagne in the fridge if anyone fancies a bite for lunch, I think it tastes better on day 2.
love
Jakki xx
I think that scooter was a good find,i might have another go tonight, trouble is i can only scoot with one leg
Well trust me to miss out on the lasagne,i think stews are always better next day too, especially rabbit
Hope all are well as can be & have had a good day
xx
Oooo, rabbit stew? count me in! (seriously, Carol, good to see you more up-beat!)
As for scooters, I used to love mine, had regular races, but like you could only use one foot. Now that hubby's mobility is so poor, he has an electric one with a seat on, helps enormously when we go round Bletchley Park on our volunteering days! Will be making a carrot cake either today or tomorrow, will make two so there's plenty for late-night visitors here!
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Thank you,it is lovely to feel more like me again, somewhere a long the way i lost me but i am getting better every day, still have the odd blip but nothing like the last few weeks
You can't beat a good rabbit stew,i have 3 rabbits in the freezer so if you want some for tea next week let me know
I loved my scooter, pogo stick & space hopper, never did get to grips with the hoolahoop or a yoyo i only ever managed to yo
Never been to Bletchley Park but they do tell me it's very nice
xx
