Ooh love rabbit stew! Yes please.
Moomy, my big fella is going on a school trip to Bletchly Park with his computing class, I wonder if you will be there? I will let you know the date.
xxxx
We do Tuesdays and Saturdays at BP. So, possible......Just lately we've been skipping off early on Tuesdays since the Toy and Memorabilia museum there closed its doors. It's a good chance to get home to do more gardening, doing the food shop on our way!

Sounds like i'd better make a big stew & leave the slow cooker on & you can help yourselves, best say now if there's any veg you don't like because if it's in the fridge i chuck it in
I've just been looking at Bletchly, what is it you do there,we may come & have a look round when we're on holiday
xx
Hi Carol, your stew sounds wonderful! The only food that I really and truly hate ( puts my teeth on edge!) is coconut....
Hubs and I joke sometimes about our Bletchley Park duty, that we are a part of 'the Bombe squad', we operate and demonstrate one of the Enigma machines, the Bombe machine that was built to help break Enigma settings of the day, and then explain how the information gained was used. Now and then we have real live Enigma challenges and that's when the whole team are all in (about 12 of us) and work together, we've succeeded each time.
There's quite a big site to see, so pop on some comfy shoes If you do come!
But that has surely put you to sleep....lol!

Carol, no worries about veg, my only food dislike is white chocolate so please don't put that in!!
Moomy don't know what day his trip is yet but will hope it is a Tuesday. Carol, we should do a 24/7 thread day out to Bletchly Park and ask really akward questions to that couple on the enigma machine; must make sure it's early Tuesday or they'll have clocked off early for a smooch lol.
Leaving you guys my chocolate again for a few days until my yuck mouth goes away, 8 chemos down 4 to go! There is a bar of very dark (85%) Green and Blacks which is delicious also some malteesers.
have a good day
Jakki xx
I don't usually put coconut or chocolate in stew so you're both safe
That sounds interesting,i'd like to volunteer to do something but there's nothing interesting round here
What a brilliant idea Jakki,if we get there as soon as the gates open we can have a cuppa & decide what to ask them,i've just had a few maltesers, thanks they're lovely
Now off shoe shopping,i only have 20 pairs & none that go with my dress for Sunday, well they do but i think i deserve new shoes, handbag & maybe a cardigan or jacket & probably a dress
Right better get off or i'll be in trouble with him indoors again for talking
See you all later
Love & hugs to all
xx
Ohhh, we want to hear all about shoes/handbag/cardigan/jacket! And about the posh frock that they will go with!
Of course you deserve them!
(oh, and by the way, there is a small coffee shop right near the entrance!)

The Imelda of whaplode has returned
Change of outfit for sunday,i saw a lovely dress, white with red & blue flowers,50's style with cross over straps & a nice tight fit at the top then flared with a petticoat so i had to get red shoes & cardigan, didn't need a bag as i already have one, also got a pair of baby green shoes & handbag to go with the dress i was going to wear which is black with tiny pink & cream flowers
My mammogram was my 4 year check so my treatment etc is all done, apart from the tamoxifen,we're on holiday end of may,it's my hospital appointment on the friday so we book the week off then i don't have to tell anybody why i want the day off,we're hopeing to get to matlock that week & have a look round all those lovely antique & vintage shops again
xx
Carol, both dresses sound lovely. I hope that end of May week proves a brilliant one for you, Matlock and Matlock Bath are both lovely.
Once stayed for a week in a Landmark Trust cottage in Cromford, it was a chilly week, as it was end of February but we had a wonderful week. I'd arranged a VIP tour of the Crich tram museum for hubs and we walked lots too, as well as spending time in the Matlocks.
Daughter is here, just about to pick up her pal from the station, they are staying over and off to Rio tomorrow for ten days, so am a bit busy. But the salad and potato salad are all ready, and bbq is loaded ready to fire up, sausages, burgers, chicken, you name it......
have a lovely weekend, all
