Thanks Helen,i'll make sure we go down there,i do love a good cuppa when i'm out,i've had a look at Ely on internet & it looks nice & there's plenty to keep us amused by the look of things
xx
Morning all, have a lovely day out Sister Snail.
This week looks quiet compared to last week. I need to catch up with some of my friends round the village.
Hugs to everyone and I hope your week starts well.
Morning everyone,
I'm back from my holidays (Spain and Madeira). The cats definitely missed me, they were both very pleased to see me and Luna woke me up at 5.30 purring and kneading my head.
Nothing exciting to do today, unpacking, washing (first load in already), food shopping, and the grass definitely needs cutting. All boring stuff but it has to be done.
Looking forward to my third grandchild being born now. They had a bit of a scare last week and Jess was in hospital for 2 days which was hard as I was so far away. But all is fine, scans show it is just that she is a big baby and lying in a position where she makes Jess very breathless and dizzy. 5 weeks to go now.
I hope everyone is ok, I have been reading posts even if not replying. Enjoy your day out Carol.
Hi all,hope you're doing ok
Well can you believe it's half way through our holiday already, lots of tea drinking, walking & cake eating,my little mate is 3 today & we had a busy morning putting her trampoline up before she came home from daddies & her party & i thought it was only fair to do a few health & safety checks before she got on it
Hahahaha! H&S check indeed! That got me giggling! But of course you had to check it would be safe......!
Been reading, now busy learning a Shakespeare sonnet for our forthcoming concert of music devoted to the Bard. Well, as a native from near there I felt I ought to volunteer....we will have 4 people reading sonnets either side of a recorder quartet playing Elizabethan music, and the choir will be singing quite a few early and some late arrangements of Shakespeare poetry. What am I like, giving myself even more to do?!?!?!?
Hoping the trips with daughter come off......and will be going quite soon with hubs to Bexhill on Sea! Hope son can manage to water the garden for us, holidays seemed a great idea a few months back but suddenly we are growing stuff to eat.....!
Daughter is doing pretty well, she has been using a steroid nasal spray but is gradually reducing the dose ready to stop it. Otherwise she's doing ok! She has been examining final recitals in a conservatoire today, wow!
Hugs to you all xxx

I hope you checked the weight limits first...hahaha!!!
Our daughter may be getting a trampoline for our grandson, but only if he continues to behave himself. He receives a sticker for good behaviour and has 1 taken away if he is not good. So far, it seems to be working, time will tell, tho. A typical 3 year old, knows everything and answers back... If I had talked back to my Gran, I wouldn't have been able to sit down, changed days indeed.

Very funny, H & S check indeed.
Apparently my two year old grandson is being particularly horrible at the moment. I think he's just realised that the baby.....now 3 months old...is here to stay.
It's a sunny morning up here, and I'm off out to lunch with a way up friend as its her birthday. We are in the last stages of planning a way up weekend in Windermere which we have organised for next weekend.....29 people will be involved.
Kids they are amazing. Make you laugh and drive you to distraction. My two year old Grandaughter rules the roost. Yesterday she said "I like ice cream Grandma but it makes my mouth cold"
Jacob is 4 and the loudest one ever I think now asking "why? " all the time. They keep me young though.
i always wanted to go on the Trampoline and the bouncy castle but I don't have good balance so might not be a good idea.
Hope you are all well and enjoying what sunshine you can. I am going south this bank holiday and it looks wet!!!! looks OK for the lakes though Linda. Looking forward to seeing you.xx
love to allxxxx
